We used Tom Lotus Garden for our Wedding event feeding around 300 guest. This was my special day and this company has multiple issues starting with the food. They double booked weddings the same night so they had to meal prep even earlier than before. Therefore our meal was not hot and ready to eat. It was almost semi-cold you can say. Secondly, this organization as we were finishing up our wedding they decided to dump cooking oil from the rental location (Botanic Gardens). Therefore the Botanica Gardens kept our $250 retainer fee due to the security guard that night visually seeing that this has occurred. A few months later we asked the owner to give us the $250 that they cost us since this was not our fault and more on Tom Lotus Garden. The owner said "no" and we told them we would take them to small claims court if they won't pay us our retainer. A years later, I took them to small claims court, paid the travel fee to have a witness on the stand, and go to the location where we were about to enter court or settle. Tom Lotus Garden owner settled and told us that we should have handled everything out of court. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, it is a dirty company with no Environmental understanding or care for their customers. To me the money was not the major issue, it was the method the restaurant took to not make things right with me therefore more headaches going through the court system.

The building is older yet well cared for. The food was good as was the service (fast and friendly). The portion was huge; more than enough to easily share with a friend or take home for lunch tomorrow. I would certainly go back when in the downtown area.

Tasty food, cleaner than it appeared from outside. Li kiki e so many Chinese restaurants absurdly large portions.

The food is delicious and the wait staff is friendly. Only problem I have is paying the check is made more complicated than it should be. A lady there didn’t seem to know how to operate the cash register and kept adding our meal incorrectly.

Pretty good tradition restaurant. I like going on Saturday for Dim Sum just wish they had the soup dumpling.
